Frances McMillan

Governance and Administration

Frances joined the OLA in September 2022 and brings transferrable skills to the role of Governance Professional from fifteen years’ experience in the commercial environments of finance and procurement.  Frances holds a Chartered Governance Institute Level 4 Certificate in Academy Governance and ensures the Trust continues to operate within the legal and regulatory framework set by the Companies Act 2006 and the Charities Commission. 

Frances is instrumental in facilitating good governance through the implementation of a trust-wide governance platform and continues to work closely with the Board of Trustees and Executive Team to identify areas of development, reduce risk and ensure best practice and compliance.
