The Orchard Learning Alliance and Waingels is seeking to appoint a hard-working, HR Administrator to support the Orchard Learning Alliance and Waingels with all aspects of HR and recruitment, providing invaluable support and administration to the whole of the Trust and in particular Waingels School during this exciting next stage of our development.
The Orchard Learning Alliance is a family of 10 schools in the Wokingham and Reading area that first came together in 2022 and created a formal Multi-Academy Trust in April 2024 which will continue to grow and develop over the next 12 to 18 months. Waingels is currently the only secondary school in the OLA and has the largest staff body and the successful candidate will have a key role in supporting a large, popular secondary school as well as working with the primary schools and trust with HR as it continues its growth and expansion, ensuring that we have the best people in place to enshrine our vision and values.
As the HR administrator your main focus will be on Recruitment, including the setting up of application and interview processes, onboarding, safeguarding and other employment checks and post appointment documentation.
This role would ideally suit an experienced HR professional who can bring their skills and experience to a multi-faceted setting and who is able to work with a wide range of professionals to ensure recruitment needs are met. We would be happy to consider applications for full or part-time, with a minimum of 25 hours a week needed. The role would be mainly based in Waingels School but some visits to other schools in the Trust maybe required and we will consider an element of home working if appropriate.
If you would like to discuss this role further or if you would like to arrange a visit to Waingels School, please contact Jane Jennings on JenJJN@waingels.wokingham.sch.uk
The closing date for application is 12 noon on Monday 8th July with interviews held shortly after. However, we will review applicants as we receive them and may schedule interviews earlier so you are advised to apply as soon as possible.
