Orchard Learning Alliance Welcomes New CEO, Sam Nowak

We are pleased to welcome Sam Nowak as the new Chief Executive Officer of Orchard Learning Alliance. Sam joined the Trust on 1st September 2026 and brings a wealth of experience from across the education sector.

Having started his career in the classroom, Sam has gone on to hold a range of senior leadership positions, including Headteacher, Executive Headteacher and CEO of a multi-academy trust. He has worked across a variety of educational settings and communities, developing extensive experience in school leadership, improvement and inclusion.

Sam has also served as an Ofsted inspector and has led specialist provision for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In addition, he has supported schools through consultancy work focused on curriculum development, teaching and learning, and leadership development.

Throughout his career, Sam has remained committed to ensuring that all children and young people have access to high-quality education and the support they need to thrive.

We are delighted to welcome Sam to the Orchard Learning Alliance and look forward to working with him as we continue to support our pupils, staff and communities.
